Shuttlepac Announce New Machinery Investment

To support the recent distribution agreement with Alpha Laboratories, and our continued international push for sales in medical packaging, shuttlepac have invested £400,000 in 4 new IBTEC Series 4 Pouch Machines.

These machines produce shuttlepac’s range of ShuttlePouch™ products which are used as part of the requirements for specimen transport, meeting the guidelines for UN3373 Dangerous Goods Regulations.

With 2 machines from the 4 already installed, and the last 2 being commissioned in Jan 2021, this will see our manufacturing capacity expand to meet the increased demand from our client’s customer base and underpin our place in the market as an innovative high quality, high volume low-cost UK manufacturer.

Shuttlepac announce new machinery investment

Ian Beardsall MD “To support Alpha Laboratories forward requirements, and our international aspirations it was essential that we invested in our manufacturing capabilities to increase capacity. The extra machines give shuttlepac the flexibility to cover the full range of ShuttlePouch™ products with a fast turnaround whilst continuing to deliver high quality products from our ultra-low manufacturing cost base.”

We know that our products are needed across the globe, and that is why we are looking for new distributors to take our products forward.
